I've read that Ford revised the 2.7 Ecoboost for the 2018 F-150, but have found different opinions on whether changes applied to the 2019 Edge ST and Lincoln Nautilus.

1. Addition of port fuel injection to supplement direct injection?
2. Revised oil pan to fix oil leaks from the 2015-2017 version?
3. HP and torque ratings increased, but was from tuning or hardware changes

There are some part number changes for throttle bodies and oil pans, but I'd like a more succinct answer to the dual injection question.

The dual injection is likely to help with the carbon build-up problem that ALL direct injection cars will eventually suffer from. Most of the gas cars can be cleaned out with some sort of chemical treatment if caught early. Others need to be blasted out with walnut shells. This is a direct result of the EGR and the PCV gases that get recirculated back into the intake. My Diesel BMW had this problem, and because of the DPF, I cant use the chemical treatment options. I hear Ford and Toyota so far, are are adding the extra injectors. I'm sure more car makers will be doing the same in the near future. Do a google photo search for carbon build up and walnut shells, and you can see what i am referencing. Not sure if that was what you were asking about.

Yes, I understand the purpose for adding a port injection feature - but have any vehicles with the 2.7 received the upgrade (besides F-150)?

The 2.7 in the Edge is Gen 1 and only has direct injection, it doesn't have the Gen 2 port and direct injection.
